Poetry became a hobby of Carlos’ in the early 2000’s. He teamed up with his friend Michael Fry and they form a duo called “Two Men Deep.” Together they began attending different open mic events and even won a spoken word contest. They produced a nine-track CD called, “Supernaturally Speaking.” After a couple years, Carlos went solo and produced a CD titled, “TruLife.” He continued going to spoken word venues with his wife.
Combining Carlos’ love for being a DJ and Darrlynn’s love for event planning, they decided to create Mocha Nights featuring clean comedy and entertainment; and After the Vows for married couples. From the culmination of Mocha Nights, After the Vows and TriPart Entertainment, they founded the parent company: Freedom Solutions, LLC.
